    Health and Wellbeing Manager

As the Health & Wellbeing Manager I have overall responsibility for the running of One You Haringey. I started with the service as a Health & wellbeing Coach in September 2017, and I worked on our weight management and smoking cessation programmes supporting our service users improve their health through behaviour change. I am passionate about nutrition and health, and as a manager I have to ensure that we deliver the best possible service to our participants, and although I am not always directly responsible for our participants journeys, I love to see our participants stories and their continuing journeys when they have completed with us. When I’m not working, I like to spend time with my family, I often have my head down keeping up with the latest nutrition and health news, and I discovered ‘Body Balance’ a few years ago and this is my favourite exercise class.

I have again transitioned into Engagement Executive (Outreach Coordinator) role in July 2021. I'm enjoying engaging with all aspects of my role although sometimes challenging but is very rewarding in achieving and connecting communities to attract people to our free Health & Wellbeing Services.

    Health & Wellbeing Coach Manager

‘Life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change’ ( John Rohan). This quote is the very essence of why I do what I do… I have been part of the OYH Team since it launched in April 2016. The best part doing what I do is helping smokers to realise ‘what it takes to quit smoking and stay quit’- becoming smoke free is a ‘GIANT leap’ for most smokers. I joined the realm of smoking cessation back in 2007- the year of the ‘BIG QUIT’. Since that time, I have become fully emersed in providing stop smoking support to whoever wants that support ( not only for the smoker). Over the years I have worked with numerous stop smoking services to promote and deliver smoking cessation support; to develop and the roll out the service and to provide training for aspiring Stop Smoking Practitioners. I have traversed several sites and cities- in and outside of London in working to support smokers to quit smoking. I truly love my job as a Stop Smoking Practitioner, supporting others to change a habit that ultimately changes each life for the better. In general, I live to inspire and inform- to help them develop that level of confidence and conviction within themselves to bring about something life changing …. like quitting smoking for good!

    Coach Manager

I have been a part of One You Haringey since it began in 2016 and have seen it grow and develop as a service. I live in Haringey and love that together as a team we can help local people live healthier lives by making small changes to their behaviour and lifestyle. No two days at work are the same so it is an exciting role which can be challenging at times, but I enjoy what I do. When I'm not working I enjoy travelling, cycling, gardening, salsa dancing and being with my family and friends.

    Be Smoke Free Coach

I joined OneYou in 2022, registering and booking participants for the courses available then in March 2023, I took on the role of a Stop Smoking Coach in Haringey. I love being able to support my participants and see it through past the bookings stage. I am a very friendly and approachable person, and I am passionate about helping others and enjoy seeing people's confidence grow throughout the course of the programme. Being a coach has taught me a lot about interacting with people and how to positively engage with my participants and I find it to be very rewarding in many ways and love that as a team we are able to reach and support so many individuals. In my spare time, I enjoy seeing friends and going on long nature walks.
