Participants are able to join as many of the following classes as they choose during their 12 week Move More programme.
We are currently delivering a mixture of online and in person classes.
The aim of this session is to help improve muscle strength and endurance. The class is designed to incorporate a combination of cardio and strengthening exercises. This is done through light and fun exercise routines using light weights.
This class has been designed for those who are either not steady on their feet or don’t feel comfortable standing for long periods of time. This is a great class if you’re just starting out on your fitness journey.
Monday & Friday
The aim of this session is to improve the capacity, efficiency and strength of the heart and lungs. This is done through a variety of light exercise activities such as walking, brisk walk, mild jog, jogging, skipping, dancing and light fun exercise routines incorporate these movements and others
The aim of this session is to help improve the mobility and movement of the body by strengthening it for everyday activities. Key pilates techniques help to improve: flexibility, breathing, core stability, coordination and balance
Monday and Friday
The aim of the session is to help improve muscle strength and endurance, maintain posture and body shaping of the legs, stomach, arms, chest, back, shoulders, incorporating a progressive programme of light weight strength exercises which can be performed with or without light weight, performed standing, sitting or lying down.
One You walk
The walking sessions take place in various locations across Haringey and incorporates different walking styles such as flat walking, mild walk, brisk walk, light uphill. All exercise sessions provide a fun, warm and inviting environment.
If you’re overweight, over 50, or just don’t enjoy working out, Zumba may be one of the best workouts - and the most fun type of exercise. Dance to great music, with great people and get active without realising it.
